Dress Code


All participants in all programs offered by Epiphany of Dance require proper dancewear and dance shoes

Students are expected to follow our dress code and have all appropriate dance wear no later than the fourth week after the staring date of the year. Students who come to a class without proper uniform will be asked to observe instead of participating.

An extra body wear may be worn at a teacher’s discretion during winter months during warm-up. The types (of garments) permitted will be at the discretion of class teachers.

 

Hair:

Bun for girls in all ballet and acro classes. Video: How to Make a Bun 

High Pony tail for girls in other classes

Ballet:

Age: 3-6 Epiphany Pink (Mondor 1635) Bodysuit and Pink Tights, Wrap Skirt (optional for classes Mandatory for exams), Pink Ballet Slippers Full Sole.

Age 7-10: Epiphany Light Blue Tank Bodysuit (Mondor 01645 Academy Blue/94)and Pink Footed Tights. Pink Ballet Slippers Full Sole with strings

Age 11-13:Epiphany Sleeveless Bodysuit (Black  Mondor 03546)); Black/purple wrap Skirt optional, Pink Convertible Tights, Pink Canvas Ballet Slippers , Pink Pointe shoes (brand of choice) with Ribbons.

Age 14 to 18: Epiphany Sleeveless Bodysuit (purple Mondor 03546)); Black/purple wrap Skirt optional, Pink Convertible Tights, Pink Canvas Ballet Slippers , Pink Pointe shoes (brand of choice) with Ribbons.

Male dancers: Plain White Fitted T-shirt, Black Dance Pants or Shorts, Black Leather or Canvas Ballet Slippers.

Jazz:

Bodysuit – Black, tank or short sleeves (for recreational)

Tights – Beige/light Caramel

Shoes – Beige Bloch Jazz Shoes (slip-on) #495

Options – Black Jazz Pants or Dance Shorts.

Musical Theatre & Tap:

Same as Jazz uniform with the exception of shoes: Beige Capezio Maryjane style;

Comp temporary & Acro:

Bodysuit – Black, tank or short sleeves (for recreational);

Tights – Beige Footless (Mondor 312).

Options: Dance Shorts OR Tight Leggings

Shoes: Foot undee (Shoes not required for Acro- bare feet).

Hip-Hop & BreakDance:

Comfortable clothing that dancers can move in (No jeans permitted).

CLEAN indoor non-marking soled running shoes.

Recital

Recital costume measuring will be in January. Costumes must be purchased in order to participate in the year-end recital. Costumes do not include the required tights or shoes.

Recreational Summer Camp:

Campers should wear comfortable clothing that will allow them to move freely.  Socks, ballet slippers or Jazz shoes are recommended.
